Masson Heiny

Hello, to everyone viewing my 2025 Digital Art Portfolio. My name is Masson Heiny and I am a freshman here at Davidson College in North Carolina. I am apart of the track team here as well. I am excited to present my projects that I worked on to you guys. My theme to my projects were very important to me while creating these projects. The theme is along the lines of finding myself as I travel leaving home and coming to college. In the first project this will be easier to spot, however the other three are about music and Breakaway. Breakaway is a music festival I went to with my friends and ever since that festival we’ve been really close. I found myself through finding my friends, which is very important for me.

The first project was made in Adobe Illustrator, It was a very simple but meaningful piece to me. It really got me thinking about the overall theme for my projects. The next project was done on Adobe Photoshop and was a GIF about the different artists and albums that were played at Breakaway. The next two were done of Adobe After Effects, they were very heavily influenced by the music that I have been listening to which is another aspect that is important to me. Anyway hopefully this introduction is helpful as you navigate the site. Have Fun!
