When coming up with ideas for this project my friend had reminded me about the musical festival we had just gone to. We took a trip down to Charlotte to go to the Breakaway Music Festival. This festival was my first ever festival and the artists sure didn’t disappoint. That’s where I got my inspiration from for this project. We saw some crazy artists and heard crazy sets. This project is a tribute to them and my first ever festival.
Featured Artists: Max Styler, D.O.D, John Summit
All of these artists performed sets and songs from these Albums. I had a blast with my friends at this festival. Our favorite song from this whole set was by John Summit. It was the song that ended the festival. “Where you are” is the title of the song and I haven’t stopped singing it since.
Brainstorming Ideas
My other Idea when starting this project was to create a flyer for the festival, using the same ideas as the official flyer. I enjoyed this idea however I realized It wasn’t truly what I wanted in the overall Idea of the project. I wanted to pay tribute and just putting the artists on a flyer isn’t doing that in my opinion.
